By the way, in case any of you haven't heard, and if you care, Guillermo del Torro (director of Pan's Labyrinth and the Hellboy movies, and 1 of our fave directors) just announced he's making a Haunted Mansion movie (1 of our fave rides) and it's gonna be kinda scary (we love scary movies)! Can you tell we are excited!!! Just thought I'd let you guys know!

Thanks for this info! Haunted Mansion is my fave ride at WDW and I was so disappointed by the Eddie Murphy one! I am all about scary movies!

Mmmmm we stayed at AKL and had dinner at Boma. It was so delicious (especially those zebra domes...). And we also went to AK for evening EMH and the park is just completely different at night. It's definitely an experience worth a trip, plus the crowds were surprisingly low. I love all of the pics.

I'm so glad you enjoyed your time at AKL and AK at night. AK at night really is a different place at night! And thanks about the pics...I'm still dreaming about getting a digital SLR!

You have NO IDEA how excited I am about this!!!!! I was soooo disappointed about the 1st movie and I am a HUGE FAN of Del Torro, he is one of my fave directors...he is really a visionary!

Anyway, our next day is coming tomorrow, I promise!!! We've had a bit of crazy stuff going on here lately!

I just started reading your trip report tonight. I can't wait to hear more. My daughter and I are staying at AKL in 29 days for the first time. I am debating if I should even get park tickets, it sounds like there is so much to do at the resort. We are only staying 5 days. It is just a short trip for her 10th b-day. We had to celebrate her becoming an official Disney adult.

Thanks for all the anniversary wishes! We had a great day. We went to Scotland for our honeymoon so we had a British-themed day for our anniversary! Watched Harry Potter, had Cadbury chocolate, Walker's shortbread, made Shepherd's Pie, had Magners Hard Cider...it was a blast!

Glad you enjoyed your UK-themed anniversary celebration - and glad you liked Scotland when you visited!

Hey there! I just stumbled upon your TR and caught myself up. We're heading to AKL in February for our 3rd stay and we just can't wait!!! I'm looking forward to reading about the rest of your trip. Do you have any photos of the new blue pool at AKL? I loved the old one, so I'm trying to prepare myself for the changes.

loved your report. We will be there in 98 days for 6 days. I would suggest that you get that new camera. I had the more expensive digital slr (the one that took different lenses)for when my kids we in grade school and loved the pictures I took. Once they were in high school, I downgraded to the Canon (can't remember the model) that was about $300 and love it. It takes awesome pictures and love that I don't have to change lenses. I have people calling me to take pictures at their wedding. My memory card holds 6,000 pictures ( at high res) and I wonder how many I will take when I go. Loved the pictures at dark also
