PPO BOG Reservation with party of 1 but we’re 2 now

Back when I hit 180+ days I was a solo traveler and I got all my reservations no problems, including a 8am PPO at BOG.

A friend of mine joined a couple of weeks ago and I was able to include him to all of my reservations including a BOG dinner on our first day, but no matter how hard I try or look, adding him to my existing BoG breakfast reservation is impossible and looking for a new one has proven a challenge.

I have a few alerts with *********** and Touring Plans, hoping to find a replacement but if anything else fails will they turn us down at the MK gates? Won’t a party of one occupy the same space as a party of two, Table wise?

I’m not trying to game the system here, I am looking into alternatives, I’m just looking for people who had this happen to them and wondering if I should worry.

I'm in a similar situation, have a 8am reservation for 2 people, but my trip has now become 3. I managed to get a reservation for 3 at 9am on an earlier date during the trip. I've kept the 8am/2 people one also and I figure two of us can go if we enjoy it first time around, or I can cancel.

Have you looked for a separate reservation for one person close to the time of your existing reservation?

Yes. I have half my alerts set up for a reservation for two and half set up for a reservation for a party of one. I also manually look for it a few times a day. Like I said, I'm actively trying to change/add my friend to the reservation and not just show up with him on D-day and wait for the best.

It's not the table size, it's staffing and fire code. They MAY let you, they may not. Keep trying to find another solo ressie.

Maybe, but it's more about fire code and restaurant capacity than it is about table configurations. I wouldn't count on them letting in an extra person. Your best option is to keep searching for another reservation for a party of 1. Then you can both enter together and sit together, since it's seat yourself.

BOG breakfast booking is not about table size. They book to number of people. As it is QS and seat yourself, they do not book based on tbale configurations.

I agree, especially given that the ADR is a PPO. The Cm at the gate may only allow one person through since the ADR is for 1

I would try calling Disney Dining and see of they can override and add him
