Potter Packages with breakfast

The Potter package with breakfast at Three Broomsticks now REQUIRES a minimum 4 night stay, for stays starting before September 6, 2010! UGH!

I had hoped to do a one or two night on-site stay with breakfast and FOTL before heading over to WDW.

The Waldorf is looking better every day...

You can still do a room only reservation and then with the hour early go and get in line for breakfast, they are still allowing those without packages to have breakfast if it is available.

At first, I thought there was a discount with the package, but after some calculations there does not seem to be any.

Room only is probably the way to go!

The Waldorf is an awesome resort, but I do recommend staying at a Universal Resort if you are planning on doing the Universal parks. Unlimited express pass and an hour early into WWoHP is worth it. Besides, we ate breakfast at 3B and it really isn't all that great. It's quite pricey as well.

Does a five night stay booking a pkg still give 40% discount on the hotel, like the stay more save more?

I agree that the breakfast is nothing great. We had it as part of our package. Average price for one breakfast is about $13. My group had the English breakfast, salmon breakfast and the pancake breakfast. I think your time would be better spent visiting the World rather than eating breakfast in the restaurant. Can't beat the staying onsite advantages though - early entry (which this week we were allowed to enter at 7:30 rather than 8:00), express pass, and ability to walk to the park.

I would skip the breakfast as well and just go with a couple of days onsite with early entrance. The ambiance of the breakfast is great but you can eat lunch or dinner there and get the same ambiance.

Yes, I booked a 5 night stay at RPR about a month ago and it had the discount.
