Well, here's my review of PotC for everyone. It is 2 1/2 hours long and worth it to me!
We'll start off with the CG (computer graphics) for starts. Most excellent. You can tell Disney is exploring their options, especially using I.L.M. instead of Pixar. Also, this is a HUGE step in a new direction for Disney, especially their live action films. There was, sticking to pirate movie rules, a good bit of sword fighting and people dying. There is no blood until the end scene, which is then just a little (a shot wound through a shirt).
There's LOTS of references to other Dis movies, especially the little mermaid & snow white. A little hint. To see something good, stay until after the credits...
