POTC rumours?

Read on another thread that they're thinking of changing the old river country water park to a themed POTC style water park, the OP thought it was a terrible idea, I personally think it would be great what do you think? I'm sure the thought of a few cap't Jack Sparrow lookalikes running around would increase water park numbers by there truckload!!

Great Idea!

I loved the old River Country, but its such a shame that they havent done anything with it. Lets hope something comes of it, a new POTC theme would be great.

no...it's still sitting there deserted...you see it when you go by on the boat from WL to FW.....
it's just on the edge of FW....

Thats a bit creepy! I dont know why but the idea of a deserted waterpark, seeing all the slides etc and noone there strikes me as a bit freaky!!

i never thought of it as creepy....just sad....
we miss going there, so every time we go by it on the boat we sort of do a collective "awww....."

we always loved going there...

if you want creepy, the empty treehouse villas near DTD...now that's creepy...

Beth, just to let you know that CMs have been using the villas for a little while now.
Not sure how POTC theme would work but I like the idea of reopening and breathing life back into River Country,

The waterparks are so busy and crowded there must be the need for another one, especially as at quite times one closes for refurb.

that was a while back...more recently they were declared uninhabitable and so they are empty....
i don't know why they don't either fix them up or tear them down...
