POTC Refurb

My first DL trip will be on October 2nd and my favorite ride at WDW has always been POTC. I was so pumped about seeing the original (and longer) version, but I just saw today that it will be closed for refurbishment through that day. Is there any chance it will be open that day (maybe they finished the refurb sooner)? Once when we went to WDW during the time they were adding Jack Sparrow, they finished one area and opened the ride back up early for the Spring Break crowd and then closed it after to finish it, but online it was showing it would be closed the entire time. I'm holding out hope against hope and praying it will be open!
