POTC 4 question

Does anyone have any idea how long movies like Pirates of the Carribbean play at Downtown Disney theatres? We're heading down June 12 and were hoping to see POTC 4 in 3d at Downtown Disney while at DLR. Since it's a disney flick--do you think it will still be there?

I don't know about the DTD theater schedule but I wouldn't see it in 3D if I were you. I went to the midnight showing last night and was really disappointed in the 3D quality. Good movie though IMO.

That's only 3 weeks, so I'm pretty sure it will still be in theaters. As for the 3-D, I've seen it in both 3-D and regular, and I too say just go for regular. There's not all that much that is actually 3-D, so it's not really worth the extra price.

Thanks for sharing about the 3D. We always try to do the 3D movies when we travel because our little town theatre doesn't have the capability--good to know not to waste the extra $$$ on this one.

Yeah...unless you find a kick in swords getting stuck in your face, I'd avoid 3-D. Avatar this is not.

IM pretty sure it will still be there in 3 weeks. Most big ticket "event" movies like that play for 6 or 7 weeks during the summer. Although the longer it plays it might get moved to a smaller theater with a smaller screen.

I believe the theater there is AMC, so Disney probably has no say in how long a movie plays there.
