Postponing a MWY Package w/ Free Dining Due to Hurricane.

I'm a new lurker to this board and I have a question. We are planning on going to Disney this Tuesday.....but we live in Fort Lauderdale and Ike is heading towards us. Can we postpone our trip w/free dining w/o penalty? Also...my parents are meeting us from Georgia...can they postpone as well?

I think I read (somewhere on here) that Orlando had to be under a Hurricane warning for last-minute cancellations, but I'm not sure how they would handle the dining package, etc.

If noone here knows the answer, I would call up Disney.

BTW hi neighbor! If I had parents in Georgia I'd be headed up that way if Ike continues it's path! I'm trying to figure out where we can go!

There is a link to the hurricane policy on the Main Disboard page.
Basically you can rebook if a hurricane is imminent.. but will not receive whatever promotion you booked with on your future reservation.
I am not sure about just completely canceling..
