Post your room number, resort and why you liked your room

We stayed at WL in May and were lucky enough to get #4001. I can't imagine a better room. The view was wonderful...we looked out over Bay Lake, the geyser was just to our right, we sat on our balcony at night and watched the EWP, and if we leaned just a tad over the balcony rail, we had a great view of the MK fireworks. And yet, our balcony felt very private. We were right by a stairwell on to the walkway to the boat dock. We were pretty close to the elevator that came out by Roaring Fork. It was perfect.

Boardwalk Inn room 4278. Overlooking a very peaceful courtyard. Wonderful views of the Epcot fireworks right from our beds. Could not have asked for more.

Don't remember the exact number for sure, I think it was 4405 and 4408 at GF Main building. We always went down and got a little dessert from the conc. lounge, came back and watched the fireworks from our room in our PJs. During the night if anyone got out of bed, there was a quick peak out the balcony curtains to see Cindy's castle changing colors. It was wonderful to watch going to sleep, and to wake up to. The kids loved the chocolates on the pillows every night when we came back to the room.

Room 5051 at POP in the 60's building. We loved it mostly because we were there first. :earboy2:

We had the good fortune of being opening day guests at the resort in 2003. POP is a great value hotel and I would stay there again. The room was ground floor on the back side of the building away from the pool. It had a king bed and the bath was set up for a wheelchair. The immediate view outside was of some sort of big plumbing meter and pipes, which was surrounded by bushes that had not yet grown high enough to act as camoflage. But, at the end of the walkway as you approached the main building, there was a Goofy's pop jet water play area complete with a little red Corvette. Maggie

1203 & 1205 are garden suites at the Boardwalk, both are wonderful but 1205 I liked a bit better because it had a balcony.

3508 at the Polynesian, fantastic view in the Hawaii building.

I need more CBR locations. ;) I stayed at POP in the 50's section 4th floor Tramp building at the end, near the food court.

Rented points for a water view BWV studio and got upgraded to a Boardwalk view that was just perfect. Room# 5061, just three doors down from the elevators, top floor, had a queen bed, a pull out couch, and an extra day bed in the room. Directly over the walkway between Wyland Galleries and Muscles & Buscles Health Club. I could see Spaceship Earth from my balcony, as well as look across the lake to see YC/BC..

POP Century room# 1312-third floor, 50's section, Lady's building, a corner room right next to the stairwell, closest to Classic Hall. Very quiet due to people with strollers having to go on down to use the elevators, no one ever walked past my door. I could stand just outside my room and see the 50's bowling pin pool and the 60's Hippy Dippy pool, but was far enough away I never heard any pool noise. Only about 2 minutes from Classic Hall. CMs were the friendliest here of any place I've stayed and this was the only place I've gotten towel animals.

I don't remember the room for our WL courtyard view, but it was fourth floor with a direct frontal view of Bay lake with the pool and geiser in the foreground. We could sit on our balcony and watch the electrical water pageant every night.

I also don't remember the room number for our room at AKL but it was a savanna view on the third floor, third section on the Kudu Trail looking into the Arusha Savanna. The Arusha savanna is the only savanna that has zebras, as well as giraffes.

How do you people remember your room numbers????

I thought I'd post because they've now started charging extra for a guaranteed MK view at CR. We had what folks would probably consider the least desirable location in the CR Tower and we loved it. It was 5th floor, bay view, right above Chef Mickeys. The bay view is fantastic - you can see the Electric Water pageant, the pool, the beach, boats coming and going and the sunrise! The 5th floor is where the monorail comes in so it was on the same level we were! We could look over the rail and see the characters at Chef Mickey's (minimal noise once the door was closed.)

Unless you totally have your heart set on seeing the MK, you will be thrilled with a bay view at CR.

I don't remember my room # at CBR, but I thought being in Jamaica was a great location. It was just a short walk through Parrot Cay to get to Old Port Royale, and we could see the lake and quiet pool from our window. We had a corner king room on the 1st floor, so had the dual windows.

AKL - Room #3125 on the Ostrich Trail. For a standard room, we thought it was great. Just steps off the lobby (but no noise), had a king bed, and even though it ultimately looked out over the front handicap and short-term parking, there was no noise, and a lot of vegetation between us and the lot. I was particularly happy that we weren't in a standard room near the bus stop. If you're in a std. view at AKL, I think this is one of the better locales!

CBR room 2612 Martinique Bldg 26 It was a corner room right next to walk path to food court and to the bus stop at Food court!! Perfect location! We were there June 17-25 and are planning a return trip for next year!! We love this resort and it was our third on site stay at CBR!!

We had 3 rooms - Tahiti 3035, 3036, 3037 - possibly the best 3 rooms at Poly. View of Castle, Space Mtn, Elec Parade, fireworks, and more. Truly perfect.

Also stayed at Poly for Father's Day weekend. Fiji #2313. Great garden view room! Marina, back of the volcano, GCH. No balcony, but still great room for garden view.

Try for the #12 or #13 Units. Great golf course view + convient to the Hospitality Center.

Can you say Scrap-A-Holic? You wouldn't believe the stuff I have photos of and giblets of tickets and pieces of confetti from PI and on and on.....

It's pathetic, but at least I can answer in detail. lol Maggie

I don't remember the exact room number, but we stayed on the 2nd floor BC on the end nearest Epcot. We had payed for a water view, hoping to be able to see the lake and the Boardwalk, but instead we got a view of the quiet pool.
The good thing was, it was pretty quiet, extremely close to the Epcot entrance(my kids fave park) and the laundry room was pretty close. The downside was that anything close to the lobby-SAB, restaurants, Beaches & Cream,- was all a looonnng walk from our room. I bought a refillable mug but hardly ever refilled it due to the length of the walk.

:p

POFQ - room# 6239. 7/6-7/13

Booked a "standard" room. Low and behold, when we arrived at our room, it was in BLDG 6 overlooking the Sassagoula River!!! Nice surprise, great vacation.

WL room 5143-quiet floor, not fat from elevators and back entrance to pool. Overlooked falls and pool. Great view from the balcony of the electrical water pagenat every night. Love the Lodge! :Pinkbounc

I'M SO GLAD I STARTED THIS THREAD! Thanks everyone!

Pop Century 0160. Corner room. Close to food court and bus stop.

We stayed at WL in late June and had room #4001. The view was wonderful...we looked out over Bay Lake, the geyser was just to ouwe sat on our right, straight out was the dock. The room was quiet and an added bonus was being able to watch the EWP from the balcony. :earsboy: :earsgirl: :earsboy:
