With all the talk of Dole Whips I still couldn't figure out what they were and I happened to be peeking at our pics from May and my DD and her little boyfriend got ice cream and hers was pineapple. Is that a dole whip? If so it was really good...LOL

The food from Jiko looks wonderful. I'll have to put that on my to do list.
Looks like the food from the Princess tea party is a little different from the regular afternoon tea-more kid friendly I guess. What did they serve & was it good?

It is never too early for ice cream. It is a dairy product so it helps keep your bones strong and can be perfect for breakfast!

It is never too early, too late, too cold, etc.

What is tamarind bbq sauce? I read the definition somewhere but it didn't really define the taste.

Disneygrl36, the food at the tea party was very good. The adults were served chicken salad sandwiches, a shrimp salad sandwich, and I think the other was a ham salad sandwich. There were also two cheese, cheddar and i'm not sure the other one (the green one) but it was good. the fruit included grapes, blueberries and rasberries. The tea was a special blend just for this tea party. The kids plate had PB & J hearts, ham and cheese sandwiches, grapes and apple juice. The dessert was vanilla cake with a strawberry mousse.

pennyplanner, I had the filet mignon, so I don't know what the short ribs tasted like. When my DH gets home tonight I'll have to ask him. I do remember him saying how tender it was and he even took the leftovers back to the room (which he hardly ever does).
