That's all, I'm afraid :sunny:

No apologizing Carys!

I didn't take ANY pictures when I went with my teen DSs for Thanksgiving Week. I was in a wheelchair due to an unexpected injury. It was enough that they had to wheel me around. I knew they would be mortified to have to snap pictures of our wonderful dining experiences.

Thanks for posting! That meal in Morocco at the cs (?) looks scrumptious. Do you remember exactly what it was?

Thanks Penny! Yes, that meal is indeed counterservice - Tangierine Cafe in Morocco, and is the Chicken and Lamb Sharwarma platter ($10.99) which counts as a combo under the dining plan. In the center is a piece of Moroccon bread, and clockwise from the top, the combo includes chicken, hummus, couscous, tabbouleh, and lamb. The white sauce on the meat and poultry is some kind of a yoghurt and onion dressing. Yum! :flower:

The dessert buffet alone was worth it!

what is this? it looks delicious!!! :hyper:

This was the wood-fired chicken with pipette pasta ($16.59 if not on the Fantasmic package). This was my sister's entree, and fortunately she let me sneak a taste of it because the four cheese cream sauce was really tasty! Plus I'm also a sucker for bell-roasted peppers, I don't know if you can spot any red shreds of it in that picture. We were impressed with how much chicken meat there was in the dish - sometimes restaurants can be 'frugal' with how much chicken they'll add to a pasta dish :teeth:

I am so excited about going to disney i forgot about the food. Now i am excited to eat. I should lose weight just so i can pack it on at Disney. Thank you all for the pics, i am about half way through. princess:

Oh my, what is this??? It looks soo yummy!!!!

They were very yummy! And to think I'd almost forgotten that we had them until I was looking through the food photos. These are the Fiesta Margaritas from the Margarita Stand in Mexico in World Showcase at Epcot. They are a layered combination of the four flavors at the stand - lime, strawberry, mango and kiwifruit - and cost $7.50. I didn't drink much while at WDW because I'm not used to drinking around lots of children, but looking back at these I think a 'drink around the world' excursion this December might be on the agenda. Before I went, a couple of reviews said they couldn't taste the alcohol in these, but they were making them a decent strength the day that we were there - they tasted as good as they look :)

Ok second night Grand Floridian Cafe. This place was so awesome that we actually changed our reservations one night to eat here again. I think next time we will eat here at least twice, food was great, lovely atmosphere too

I Luv Tinkerbelle,

Wow! I think I am going to make ADRs for Grand Floridian Cafe. I had liked the looks of it when I read the menu or AllEars, but seeing the food has really sold me!!

Both of your entrees look GREAT!!!

Can anyone confirm if this is the potato and leek soup? It looks great and I would like to order it next time.

Chicken Pasty:

Can you tell me what is in this? Specifically the vegetables.

Guiness Stew:

How is this? Is it very strong with guiness? I love beef stew and this looks good, but I am not a big beer drinker.

Thanks,
Maggie

Thank you so much!!!! I now have to wipe up the slobber on my desk!!! *wishing he was eating WDW chicken strips right now*

Disney World's chicken fingers are by far the best ever. Any where in non-Disney world can you find similar tasty chic fingers? Friendly's is a close 2nd, maybe?? Any ideas?

I was reading a trip report from Mouseplanet. The writer mentioned this drink in her report. I was thinking you had to pick ONE of the flavors.

I was wondering if they would allow you to blend the flavors.
Thanks to your post, I now know that's the way they come. :thumbsup2

The Grand Floridian Cafe is a GREAT place to eat! We have stayed at the GF for 3 years (soon 4 this summer) and we always HAVE to eat there! We ate lunch twice and dinner once at the GFC last visit and loved it even more! The hamburgers for lunch are the BEST!!! Really juice (even when it is well-done). For dinner, I loved the filet mignon with garlic mashed potatoes (pretty much like any other filet mignon in WDW, so it is very good!!). We had a waiter (a lady about in her 40's) who was also from New England, so we had a nice time talking to her. All the waiters at the GF are amazing! At Citricos we had a GREAT waiter, he was so nice, and very funny!

Make it a POINT to go to the Grand Floridian Cafe! :thumbsup2
