Speaking of the No Way Jose, which I really really really wanna try next time I go, is Beache's N Cream even still at BCR or did it just move? I heard that something else like the Beach Club Grille or something was taking over the spot where Beaches N Cream was...But I dont know if it's going to be the same place with just a different name or a totally new place. If so, where does the ice cream go?! And the best cheeseburger I've ever had in my life?!

It is still in the same place. It was temporary being serviced at Hurracaine Hanna's and another place inside while it was being refurished.

Clams at the Cape May Buffet

Said I'm not changing any ADR's & then you have to show me all these clams!!! I can't fit it in!!! Couldn't fit it last time either!!! Making me nuts!!!!

Is it just me or do clams look icky? I like fried clams..but these...look.....well..you know. What do they taste like? Oysters?

The clams aren't the best clams there are. I wouldn't use Cape May as an indicator of what clams are all about.

Fried clam strips . My favorite meal ever. Is there anywhere in the world. That serve nonprocessed fried clam strips. Not chopped clams, and filler formed and fried. But the actual clam strips, fried. Oh my goodness. Delicious. I am craving them now. Well, does anyone know. TYIA

This is our custom cake we had done for our 21 year anniversary last year. We had dinner at 1900 Park Faire. It was so delicious. It was white cake with white chocolate mousse and fresh raspberries in between the layers with buttercreme icing. The banner on front was made with a tootsie roll like substance, And it had a solid M&M Bride & Groom and gum paste roses. It was just gorgeous. It was about $40. We've ordered another one for our anniversary this year, July 28th. Can't wait!!

these actually arent your usual 'clams' that most people would eat in a clamboil/clambake. the kind we would eat are actually called steamers, and they have necks sticking out of them and you have to peel part of off, they taste a lot better than the kind of clams at cape may, the cape may clams are actually called quoahogs, and while tasty, are mostly used in choweders and such(kinda chewy). but I still go to cape may on occasion. its not bad, just nothing like a real new england clambake(which is how they used to advertise it). but getting fresh new england clams is probably too difficult/costly).
(fried clams(whole) are usually made out of the steamers as well). clam strips I think are made out of those huge clams from the west coast.

ooh, i used to get the cherrystone clames ..the first time i had them was in fla at a hooters; they are not the same here in nebraska; then i used to buy them for 25 (hey, where's the cents sign??) cents a piece from albertsons; they closed down here in nebraska... i would just pop them in the micro until they opened and eat em with butter; ooh, boy now i'm hungry for clams!!

DB lives in East Falmouth (Cape Cod) & we go clamming every time I visit. Nothing like fresh caught steamers!!! So the concensus is, Cape My ain't Cape Cod? & I shouldn't be too bummed about not fitting it in??

Thanks for all the pictures, I've saved the ones for the places I have ADRs on. I don't like to wait until the last minute to chose fru fru food, its really helped

I hate olives anyway, but that would have turned me off to the whole salad, not just the eyeball
