Raglan Road Steak:

DSCN2982.jpg

It looks real good, but unfortunately they undercooked it and when I sent it back it came back rare again. I would have enjoyed it if it was cooked medium well like I requested.

The deserts look great, but the food and service was horrible.

MMMMMMM!!! Look at how the natural "jus" from the steak turns the potatoes underneath a crimson red........that's my kind of steak!!! At home I like to cook on super high heat to get a nice quick sear/char on the outside and pull the steak at 130 degrees so it will carry-over to 140 while it rests. Sounds like the person cooking that night was not very adept at grilling meat, sorry your experience wasn't everything it should have been.

Deep fried Oreos!!! YUM-O!! We weren't planning a visit to Boma though. Is there anywhere else in the World that serves them?

Chefs de France dessert.
(Clafoutis bleuets, sorbet et coulis aux fruits Rouges - blueberry clafoutis, with red berry sauce and sorbet.)
This isn't on the allears site...

Was it good? What exactly is a clafoutis? (Sounds like it could be something contagious!!)

TIA!

A Clafoutis is kind of like a thick, custardy pancake with fruit (I've usually had it with pears or cherries.) It's a delicious and easy dessert to make!

Awesome dessert at V&A's:

White chocolate orange mousse on a chocolate "nest", with a chocolate powdered castle and a sugar sky/sun backdrop. We enjoyed everything we had at V&A's, but this was too gorgeous to eat without taking a picture first!

Alright I'm back and have lots of pics. I have some really great ones of California Grill but there is a problem getting them off of the memory card. I hope is a problem with my computer and not with the card. :headache:

Raglan Road
Dunbrody Kiss...Chef Dundon's gift to America. Chocolate. Add chocolate.
Then add some more.

This was good although I didn't really like the "bottom" which was sort of a rice krispie-like
thingie. The rest was awesome!

Thanks for all the posted pics. I am using them to help me decide where to eat during our next trip.

Hey everyone, as promised here are my pictures from my trip this past August. Sorry it took so long but there were some computer problems:badpc: that made me want to tear my hair out. Urgh! Anyways, these pictures are not of great quality as I was taking them VERY quickly, so there was barely time to focus let alone arrange things prettily.

So, lets hope this works.

On our first day there we had arrived 17 hours after leaving our home (most of this at night so not much was open to eat) so as soon as I dumped my stuff in our hotel room (ASMo) I found my DCousin and we went to the Food Court for a bit of a snack:

Soooo.... Anyone know how to make the pictures smaller?? :rolleyes1

After we got all settled in a few of us went over to Downtown Disney for about an hour or two. We hit Goofy's Candy Co. and I got the make-you-own pretzels thing:

Keep in mind there is normally three....

This is: dipped in milk chocolate, rolled in pecans (my favorite), drizzled with caramel and white chocolate. It was very good, I do however recommend eating them fairly quickly. I tried to "save" mine and eat it a bit on the trip but it started to get a bit... odd after a couple of days. The girl that made it though was painfully slow and took her a good 20 minutes but it was worth it as it looked perfect. I had the cookie with similar toppings on the last trip and actually liked that a bit better btw. FYI - by far the best thing here though it that Minnie Bakeshop Cookie in Raspberry White Chocolate. They are SOOOOOO good and I had *cough* several *cough* while we were there. (wheres the dool-y smilie when you need it)

Later that night me and DMum (I think) shared one of those turkey dinners from the ASMo food court - which I hightly recommend but I didn't have my camera with me (SHOCKING! :scared1: ) so yes... no photo.

First day: Magic Kindgom
As it was really our first official Disney day a few of us decided to go all out for breakfast and get the Micket waffles. Below are mine and my DCousin-in-law's (DCIL from now on because thats alot to write), who was totally excited as it this was first Disney World Trip.

As we had not planned on going to MK that day we had no fixed reservations that day we kinda winged it meal wise. For lunch we decided to try Cosmic Ray's which is always a must do for us. Unfortunately it was INCREDIBLY busy that day (in fact the busiest I have ever seen a Disney park in all the 5 times I been). For this one I only got my DDad and Mine.
