Thanks girls.
Which website did you get the pocketfolders from.
I got my sample from cardsandpockets.com but both of yours looks bigger then mine. Maybe its the picture.

I got mine from cardsandpockets.com too. MIne's the signature size. 5X7. FYI. Good luck!

Here are my invites-- the pocketfolders are from cardsandpockets.com. They are Signature saphire metallic.

twiu: Where did you get your invitations from? They are so pretty!

I made them! I'm so glad you like them. I got the pocketfold from cardsandpockets.com in fuschia, the matte is clementine. The inserts and main invite I printed on a laser color printer and they were designed by a friend of mine. I still haven't made all of them. Just one. I'm dreading having to make them... cutting all those inserts. Oh well. I still have 4 months before I have to send them out. I'm procrastinating!!! :)

But, yeah, I went to look for invitations at a normal store and realized that what I wanted was going to cost me about $1200 for 100 invites. I came upon this awesome board and decided I could make them myself. If you decide to do so, I'd be glad to help you out if you have any questions :) hth

I can't believe you made them yourself! They are amazing! Thanks for the info, I'm going to check out the site right now! Good luck in putting them together, looks great so far!

All of these invitations are very pretty. I hope mine look half as good when I am finished with them!

JaxTeach,

How did you get the ribbion around yours without the end looking hideous? I would like to wrap ribbion around mine in a similar fashion (ie not a bow) but I don't know how to keep the end of the ribbion looking nice. I don't want it to be abrupt or to have it look like amature hour. Yours looks really nice. How did your manage?

TIA

Amy

The ribbon on the front (on the flap) was covered by our square "monogram" seal (the silver square you see when the invite is closed). I then put a small piece of velcro to hold the invitation closed (that's the bit of black you see). The other end of the ribbon did look slightly hideous, but it was covered by the inserts in the pocket-- it didn't look hideous really, just not perfect. I hotglued the ribbon on both ends.

I hope that isn't too confusing!
