Post pics of your bag you carry into park

Has anyone bought this? And if so, can you show a picture of the inside? There's no way to view the inside and I like the water bottle part, but I would be concerned about the "Self closures".

I have a bunch of stuff I'd be bringing into the park and I probably will wear a fanny pack in addition.

Even though I am leaning towards the Baggallini Messenger Bagg, I am still looking at my options.

My DMIL bought us a Baggallini messenger bag for our trip last September. We love it! My husband doesn't feel weird about carrying it as a diaper bag, which we use now all the time instead of a bigger traditional bag. It's just plain black (ripstop) which is not too "pretty" for him to carry. I put our cameras, change of clothes for the little one, diapers, wipes, etc, and we used the mesh pocket for water and sippy cups. The straps adjust so my husband who is a big guy doesn't have a problem wearing it. It crosses over the body which some people said they didn't like, but I feel like it's more comfortable that way. Plus it's not slipping off my shoulder in line or while holding the little guy. It also fits over our stroller's handle easily if the basket is full. My favorite accessory for sure to take to the parks.

My husband and I will carry the Vera Bradley large backpack. They are great. For my two oldest children we got mesh book bags with animals on them. These can be worn or put in the bottom of the stroller. That way they can keep up with their autograph books and things.

Trying to decide which bag to purchase to carry in the parks, and was hoping people could post pictures of them wearing their bags or just simply a picture of their bag if they have it. Also, don't forget to include the name of the bag and the color you chose. Also, the price if you remember how much you paid. TIA! Can't wait to see everyone's fav bags!:yay:

An unique idea I think.. What an idea to open a thread and lead discussions on.. We have to be careful about what we choose and what we not choose.. You are right.

This thread has given me nightmares!

I'm at the airport ready to leave. DD needs something out of my carryon. I unzip it all the way around, open it, and it's full of bags! A baggallini, a lancelot, hipster, overlander pacer, piazza, string backpack, etc. And that's ALL I've packed. No clothes, no toiletries, no makeup or contacts, nothing but bags! :faint: I tell DD not to tell DH and hope he doesn't notice I'm wearing the same blue jeans and sweatshirt (we're leaving from Ohio) all 10 days.

I sure hope it's only a dream!

:lmao: A new meaning to "The Bag Lady"

I'm also looking for a bag... I don't want silly tan lines but I also don't want to be sporting a fanny pack.

Wow! That's gonna be a neat trick, you'll have to let me know how you figure that one out. :upsidedow ;)

Seriously, I use a baggalinni, and I wish I had a picture to share with you, but all the photos show me with it behind me so you can't see it. I bought mine in the non-crinkle material, I bought the one in rip stop material with all the pretty bright color choices. I LOVE IT! So far I've gotten it in :upsidedow ;) :rolleyes2 :lovestruc oh and :(, for those of you wondering what in the world I'm doing, the face colors are the colors I've gotten the baggalinni in so far. I've gotten the pink, which is more fuschia, purple, which is VERY dark purple, (love it!) and mermaid blue (this is what my daughter calls it), the periwinkle and the lime green one's for my mom. My mom and I decided we would switch around the bags as our outfits called for it. :crazy2: Yes I know it sounds like a lot of bags, but my mom wanted the green for everyday use in the summer before the trip, the "mermaid blue" is for my daughter and neice to take, and I bought the pink first, and thought it might be to lite in color for the park, and then bought the purple, now I don't know which one I like better. My mom wants to carry her periwinkle one in the park to trade out with the other colors I got. I LOVE MY BAG!
I bought it at ebags.com, and I used the save10 code to save ten dollars off, and then when you register you save another %10 and I believe that they are on sale as well. It's been over a year and they still allow you to use the code. I buy each one seperate so I can save the 10 dollars on each one since there are free returns and free shipping, why not! Right? Whew! I can type! :rotfl:

Wow! If I had that many packages coming from ebags my DH would :scared1: He already saw the one with the overland donner and the extra camera battery and the wrap for my camera, so he is starting to realize that this trip is gonna really cost him in ways he can't even imagine!:lmao:

That's a good man...hang on to him. My DH doesn't want to be seen with me and my Botanica Cargo Sling. He says it looks like an "Old Lady Purse"! :guilty: MEN...what do they know?

And here I thought I'd be the only one wondering what to carry! Thanks for the great advice and links! I've been wondering what I was going to get to carry my phone and camera in.

On the 4th and the 5th, our days overlap and you will see me with my Caffe Latte Cargo Sling! Say Hi!! Woo Hoo!!! Who Cares what our DHs think? Never stopped him from putting his reading glasses in my bag before!;)

That is too funny! Me too! And then my DH and DSs give me the :snooty: when they get to walk on through the gate while I have to have my bag searched at security! YET...who is there for them with the tylenol, bandaid, reading glasses, gum, place to put those oakleys when the sun goes down! :rotfl:AND those wonderful mickey ponchos!!!

Can anyone recommend a small(ish) backpack?

I've been tempted to buy a Baggallini but I have issues with cross-body bags. Being a woman and (forgive me if this is too much information) rather endowed, I don't like the 'separation' caused by the strap. One shoulder purses slip too easily and get in the way, so I've decided to start looking into backpacks. I just don't want the kind of monsters I took to school. :rotfl2:

On our last trip, we brought a regular backpack for our umbrellas, ponchos, tissues, wipes...basically for our things that were not very valuable. We would keep the backpack in the bottom of the stroller. I, however, used the Vera Bradley Mini-hipster for my valuables...cell phone, camera, money, credit cards, KTTW card. This bag is so lightweight & convenient to carry on all the attractions. This worked out very well for us. We will be using these same two bags on our upcoming August trip.

What about the mini backpacks that DaKine makes. They are really cute but they look like they hold a lot and are comfortable to wear.
