Post pics of your bag you carry into park

I have been using the Urban back pack as my summer bag for two years. I love it. I can fit so much stuff in it. Wallet, sunscreen, digital camera, bottle of water... It is my favorite bag.

YAY that's good to hear! What color did you get? I went with basic black. SO excited to use it.

These bags now hang on their bedroom walls as the "ultimate souvinier"... they do use them for school bags occasionally - but not in the winter because the bags do not fit that much gear! I hope you enjoy, it was a lot of fun to watch the transformation of these bags... my girls even had "reserved sections" on them - youngest dd saved the front of her bag for the Pooh and Fairy characters - once they signed, she opened the front for anyone because she had run out of room everywhere else.

D~

Thanks so much for this idea. we will be doing this in Sept. :thumbsup2

I've used this baggallini for the past couple of trips and love it. It has plenty of compartments to keep things organized, it's waterproof and it fits across the body very comfortably.

Thanks for all these bag tips!! :thumbsup2
I've never been before, and I was wondering, can you take smallish bags on rides with you? is there any room for them if you keep them on you (strap around your shoulder etc) are they safe? I just think I'd prefer to keep my bag with me to try and stop myself from forgetting where I've put it etc thanks for any help! :goodvibes

I took my bag with me on every single ride, even Kali River Rapids! (I wore a poncho because it was Feb., and I would have been really cold if I was soaking wet.)

Some rides, like Soarin' require you to put your bag in a mesh container under your seat.

I need a suggestion for a bag big enough to hold several daipers, a small extra outfit for my 2 year old, snacks, sunscreen, wallet and a few other small things. Any suggestions? The baggalini seems smallish.

I think I might breakdown and get the baggallini. There are so many. Which one should I get? Is it the Ripstop Nylon Messenger bag that so many people like?
Where is the best place to get it? QVC has it for $33.50 + $5 shipping.

eBags has the ECO messenger on closeout for $29.99, but I'm not too fond of the colors.

So, Bag Experts..... where's the best place to get the Baggallini and what's the best one to get?

Me and my baggallini are back from our WDW trip.

I'd give it a 4 out of 5. It was the perfect size to hold everything we needed without being weighed down. The multiple pockets kept everything organized. I kept my frequently used items (lip gloss, hand sanitizer and itinerary) in the side cell phone pocket. KTTW and photopass cards went in the pocket on the strap. Everything else went in the other larger pockets.

My ONLY complaint was the straps slipping and not staying where adjusted. I resorted to a safety pin (the WDW pins were not strong enough to hold - I tried)

Personally I like the ripstop nylon because it's light in weight but mostly they have lots of pretty colors to choose from. The cheapest place to get your baggallini would be shoebuy.com, free shipping and free returns their listed for $37.45, but if you use the save10 code you'll get $10 off, when your checking out you'll be given the option to register which will take another %10 off the price, it should come out close to $25 No one can beat the price, free shipping or returns, not to mention the color choices. When I go to the site I type in the search-baggallini, and almost to the bottom of the page has the style to pick from, pick messenger and then I think it's at the bottom of the first page they'll start, you have to go to the second page to get all the pretty colors for the ripstop.
I've gotten quiet a few in lots of different colors, lime green::yes::, "pink" which is really fuchsia-:lovestruc one of my most favs, turquoise aka as mermaid blue in our house ;), periwinkle :(, and purple :upsidedow -which I love! -it's dark enough to not see dirt, and I think that's it! Hope I've helped.
Oh! If you want more than one than I suggest ordering them separately, that way you can get the full discount. I say why not! It's not like your paying shipping and this way you'll get the $10 off and the %10 off for every bag you order.

Thank you! This is exactly the info I need. Do you have any picks of carrying the Baggallini in the parks? I would love to see pics of the lime, pink and purple in action! I can't decide which color to get.

If there was an "overpackers anonymous" I would be the president. I think the easiest thing to do is post what I plan to take in the park & get some feedback on what bag you guys think will work best for me. Here goes: sunscreen, wipes, germx, tylenol, camera (w/extra battery & mem. card), cash, 2 extra shirts (for the kids), bandaids, a few snacks, a couple bottles of water. I also may end up carrying my 2 kids autograph books, lanyards, & sharpies. I just feel like I need a huge suitcase to carry in!! Please help me decide what bag to use.

I'm going to quote myself now:

Here's my travel bag:

It's from REI, and I paid about $20 on sale. Linky: http://www.rei.com/product/747932

I like that it's PADDED. If I'm keeping my Treo and a camera in it, I want it to be cushioned in case I drop it. I like the zipper compartment on the side to keep a water bottle. I even used the strap as a lanyard for my pins!

My most important suggestion is to become familiar with how you organize your stuff. I like to be able to quickly grab what I need, without having to rummage all around to find what I want.

I kept a small bottle of sun lotion in it (I also brought a big bottle, and left it in the room. We filled the little one as needed.) I also had wipes, individual packets of antibacterial gel, Tylenol, camera, extra batteries, my cell phone, bandaids, one bottle of water, 2 autograph books and sharpies. The only thing from your list I didn't have in it was the 2 shirts, snacks and only one bottle of water. I'm sure I could have fit the 2 shirts in, at least. We were on the dining plan, so I didn't bring any snacks.

I kept additional stuff in mine, though, that you didn't mention. Things like feminine supplies, :rolleyes1 and a few mini M&M tubes filled with pennies and quarters for the pressed penny machine. I also kept a few precious pins stored inside, that I didn't want to risk losing off the strap.

Adding more pictures of my REI bag, from the REI site:

Here's the bags we carry with us. Got them from free at Downtown Disney back in 2005 for applying for a Disney Chase credit card. It's very light weight, plus has an area to put items you need to keep cool on the bottom (water bottles, medications, gum, etc.). We usually put in snacks, our lanyards with tickets, dry socks and a sweatshirt or two in the main large compartment. There's an area in the front with a zipper where we put our car keys, wallets and money in. We usually only take one in the park and it's very comfortable to wear on your shoulder.

(Hopefully I'm uploading these pictures correctly.) HOW CAN I POST THEM DIRECTLY IN THE BODY OF THIS POST INSTEAD IF DIRECTING FOLKS TO A LINK? It's been awhile and I've forgotten.

If you go to page 49 to installment #726 you can see the purple and you can get an idea of how big it is, and how much stuff you can fit into it. I don't have a good pic with it on me, I wish I did but all of them are from the front and the bag isn't visable. You can look on ebags.com to see the colors true to form.

Woo-hoo! I ordered the pink baggallini last night. It came to $27 with free shipping. Can't wait to get it!! Thanks everyone.:banana:

I took my baggallini the first day in the park and part of one of the other days, but it just got too annoying at times. I liked it, but I think I overloaded it. If I went to WDW again, I'd go with a backpack and a small *cough* fanny pack*cough* because that would enable me to take a small soft sided cooler of bottles of water with me in the backpack.
