Post pics of your bag you carry into park

I found a Harajuki Girls sling bag at TJMAXX for $10. It's great. It's plastic on the outside so it's waterproof. I think if you look around in stores like Marshalls you can find something that will work really well.

This is the bag that I just bought for our upcoming trip in April. I just got it in the mail yesterday and it is not too big so it should be easy to fit on rides with me, but big enough to be able to hold camera, sunscreen and whatever else I need. The straps are adjustable and could easly be carried on one shoulder like a purse, or go around the neck so it crosses over the chest. Plus, it's not super expensive like some of the other bags

PS. take out the spaces because I don't have enuogh posts yet. :headache:

after reading just about all of these posts, I decided to go with the Bagallini. It looks like this will be the perfect bag for us. There are a lot of pockets, I especially love the zipped pocket in the strap so you can keep money and you KTTW card with you the whole time. I think my DH could even carry it and not feel like he is carrying a "girly" bag. We are going in May and I am looking forward to trying it out.

We just took a trip this past Dec after reading the posts here we got the Heys bag quite liked it. There are two kinds and found that the nylon one on some of them did do what OP have said seams let lose on some of the edges but over all we liked the size, pockets and water bottle holder.

We took a group of 15 - 4 adults who each got the leather version women took the large one and the men too the small one. (no problems there with seams let lose) and 11 children ages 9 -19 who all got the small nylon (that one some of them did have seams that let lose but not anything that was too bad). The fun part for us was each child had a different color so we were walking rainbow LOL

We each took them on all the rides with us. The children kept their own money, ponchos, activities books and crayons for the flight and snacks in their bags. My bag being the larger one held my camera, poncho, passporter book, wallet and snacks. I'm sure there was more but that was the important stuff. :thumbsup2

I just got back, and bought the Heys Travelmate bag in camo for the trip. My two girlfriends that were going also bought the bag in other prints (the polka dots and the leopard). I have used various bags, including fanny packs, for previous trips, but I liked this bag waaaayyy more than any previous one.

It has a waterproof pocket where I always kept my camera and would stack park tickets on water rides. It has a cell phone pocket on the outside that was big enough to squeeze in a small blackberry (it doesn't look like one will fit, but it does) and a ton of pockets for other organization. I carried bandaids, pepsid, pepto, advil, neo-to-go, drink flavor packs, tea bags, my camera, a small anti-bacterial lotion & small antibacterial gel, my gorillapod, two pens, the mirror that comes with, lesportsac olivia wristlet (which I attached to the light holder- PERFECT security) for my money, cc's, change, lipbalm and lipgloss. That is a ton of stuff, and I didn't even have the expansion unzipped. It has the pad for wearing on the shoulder, so I never felt like it was too heavy --- and I could switch which shoulder I wore it on.

The girls also loved theirs and declared them perfect for travel. I was incredibly pleased with it..... got mine off ebags, with a discount for just under $30 including shipping. One of my girlfriends got hers off Overstock when they were having free shipping for $27.

The LeSportsac Olivia (the perfect travel money pouch - pockets on the outside for KTTW and Tables of Wonderland card, held alot inside without being bulky) I found @ Filene's for $9. It has a "strap" that can be detached from one side and snapped onto anything else. Fabulous!

GAH - no pics yet... lemme work on that...

Would like to see those, but link doesn't work. Can you repost?

So a description to the bag I posted earlier that is on Amazon:

As for the compartments, there is a small zipper in the front that I would say could hold cards or some chapsticks or something of that nature. Then there is inside the backpack and an inside compartment that is in most purses (small like the one on the front) and then there is a pocket on the backside that is thin and looks like it could hold a folded piece of paper or something.

I just got it yesterday so bear with me, lol. I dont think the straps are very thick - maybe an inch to an inch and a half? and they are adjustable so i dont think it would rub on your neck. I don't know the measurements, but I do know that it is not big at all. You could definetly hold your camera (any size) wallet, and smaller essentials. I think you could even hold a water bottle, but it would be a little tight and bulky..

Im sorry i dont have specifics, but i hope that helps!

OOhh I love that Picnic Time Turismo! Looks cool!

My question is this- I have a baby and a toddler who will be in our double stroller. I will have my Skip Hop diaper bag with there stuff. Do I need a fancy bag for the rest of the goods, or should I just shove everything into the stroller basket?

I was just searching for this bag (the Heys Travelmate mentioned above)and found that QVC is offering it for $19.96, total $25.18 with shipping and handling. Multiple solid colors to choose from.

In searching I also found these 2 videos that show the bags:

The 2nd one really shows every detail of the bag.
This is going to be the 4th bag I have purchased for this one trip to Disney:confused3
I think DH will want me to stay away from this board! :lmao:

geishagirl81 - what we have always done is have the baby stuff in the diaper bag and leave that in the stroller, but camera, tickets, at least 1 water bottle, some wipes, one diaper (when my kids were wearing them), and small essentials in a smaller bag that we carry on the rides, etc., and we take turns carrying that bag.

Now I plan to do pretty much the same thing, but more pared down.

I see they have a lime green bag. :thumbsup2

I just ordered one from Bagsbuy.com. $32.45 - $10.00 (code: save10) = $22.45 total. No tax, and free shipping! (If you're a Sunshine Rewards member you can get $2.47 (11%) back too, bringing it to only $19.98 total!

I love threads like this! I can talk about bags and shoes all day long, LOL.

Speaking of which, I just ordered the Heys Travelmate from HSN today...only 12.95 for the zebra print one. *I'd link you, but I don't have enough posts yet...* I seldom wear print shirts, and seem to have a lot of black/white in my wardrobe, so there won't be a problem with clashing. And even with the 7.95 shipping, it still worked out to be less expensive than eBags, QVC or Overstock.

I also ordered two pairs of shoes in anticipation of my May trip...but I'll leave that for the shoe thread. :cloud9:

:rolleyes1 OK! I am going to attempt to post a picture. I make no promises... the three in the middle are all carrying various printed Heys Travelmates... I'm the one in the middle of the middle! :o) Camo Heys...

HOLY MOLY - did it work???

AND ANOTHER! Now that I've figured out how to do it.. beware... this one shows my favorite place in WS... and shows the SIGG water bottle I was carrying...
