Post photos of the Disney art that hangs on your walls.

We like Disney Art by Peter Ellenshaw. ]

We LOVE Peter Ellenshaw as well!! I was so sorry to hear of his passing...but we have a few of his (giclee), Jim Warren (giclee) and Kincade's 50th (giclee). I'll have to take pics to show :thumbsup2 I loved going into the 'Gallery' and seeing what I wanted next. Family and friends come into my home and love to look ;)

I wish I could afford to get some of his giclee... I have to wait from them to come to print though. I'd love to see your pictures though!

If I was to splurge on a giclee I think I would buy this one by Michael & Inessa Garmash. It looks like an older version of my dd :)

When you say "show us" do you mean everything that hangs on my walls?

This is just the beginning.

And for all the Ellenshaw fans, here's Harrison Ellenshaw hand embellishing my painting of Once Upon A Dream that he painted with his father.

I know this is really Disney art that you've purchased, but I did an acrylic painting inspired by the Haunted Mansion about a year ago and I love it death. I've had a couple of people who've wanted to take it off my hands, but I can't part with it. Its my baby.

Oh and its also collaged. The trees are real bark :)

The way I see it, it's Disney art that hangs on your wall, so yours counts. And you did a nice job with it.

Those all look fabulous... I'm anxious to see the rest of your collection!:thumbsup2

Thanks. Here are the two most recent additions. I bought them in February when I toured the Collectors Edition facility in Canoga Park. Both are hand embellished by the artists.

my favorite is in my signature. It's by Tim Rogerson and reminds me of my three children
It was a surprise gift from my husband on our trip last year

I am love, love, loving this thread!! So many great Disney art collections. I had no idea that Thomas Dubois did the Disney Collection series.:confused3 How cool is that!

I don't personally own any Disney art. DSis & her DH have an original Haunted Mansion ride poster. Other DSis has a sketch of Mickey she bought in the Animation Building's gift shop in DCA. Now that it's matted & framed, I really like it.

One of my favorite parts of DCA is the mosaics near Schmoozies. They're filled with old cups, forks, & really interesting misc items, you'd otherwise not notice at 1st glance. They just make me happy. I have some cool photos of those walls that I plan on framing. Don't know if that's considered art. I think it is though.

She really does look like your dd! Can you get one of those canvas photos made from the print in your siggy? That's adorable!

Love it, sooo sentimental. I'm on the look out for Disney art of my own now.

Cinderella's Castle is not bright pink. It was pink one year for a birthday celebration, but that was a number of years ago and I've heard it will never happen again based on the unpopularity of the pink castle. They put special golden details up three years ago for the anniversary celebration, but no pink!! The castle is white, gray, light blue...

I'm a little confused. DL's castle is Sleeping Beauty's, not Cinderella's. Cinderella's castle is at WDW. And the castle at DL looked pretty pink to me when I went in Feb!

Many, many years ago, there was no pink in Sleeping Beauty Castle. I think that's where the confusion is coming from.

I don't have any at home, but i have two kinkeads on my office walls at work.

I made this shadow box of all the things I collected when I was at Disneyland for the big 50th birthday on 7/17/05. It hangs in my hallway and I think about that magical day every time I walk past it.

I didn't know they made disney dollars in $50 denominations. Probably just for the anniversary eh? I like it! :thumbsup2 Wish I was there!

Whats with the brick replica? It doesn't look like the acrylic ones they send. Is it the wood replica?

It's just a photo of my brick that I cut out and put in my shadow box.
And yes, they only made the $50.00 bill for the 50th birthday. I believe they only sold it on that day. I was also lucky enough to get one of the 5000 limited edition "I was there" pins. We got in line at 2:00 a.m. to make sure we got one!
