post photos of Disneyland from 1989 - 1991

If you have photos of Disneyland with characters from "The Little Mermaid", "Beauty and the Beast", and / or "Aladdin" from from July 17, 1989 - December 31, 1993, or any other photos of Disneyland, like vacation photos, Disneyland TV Specials, etc. from July 17, 1989 (which was Splash Mountain's opening date before it was at Disney World in 1992) - December 31, 1993, will you please post them on this board? Because I don't think "Lion King" characters didn't appear at Disneyland and / or at Disney World until 1994 when the movie was released in theaters during that year, but I'm not quite for sure. And at the top, it should say post photos of Disneyland from 1989 - 1993.

ummm i dont know what year i went first. but butey and the beast musical was playign (all my pics went up in fire a few years ago)
and then the next time I went to dl Lion king was all over the place. (i think 94 or 95) (my brother got me a huge poster of lion king and a pillow in 94) 98 or 97 I belive was when i got my lion king two beenie bags in disney land and my huge simba to go with my baby simba)
I know disneyland had so much lion king stuff I rember looking around one of the shops filling lost and over whelmed (i still love lion king)

sorry i wish i had those pics i would love to post them. Your request just brought back all my past trips lol

I went 3 times to Disneyland, the first time being In June/July 1989, that year we met alot of Disney Afternoon characters (Gummi Bears) etc and they had a parade full of Disney afternoon characters. Thats also the year where we rode Splash for the first time, it wasnt officialy opened but they were opening it a few hours a day. Then, Dec 1991/Jan1992 thats when we met Aladdin and Genie + Jafar with Iago on his shoulder and Beauty wearing her yellow dress with formal Beast. In Dec 1994/Jan 95, thats when we saw the Lion King Parade but did not meet any Lion King characters at the park. I have many character photos from that trip in the link below.......not necessarly the ones mentionned above though.......

Me too. We definitely made a lot of trips to the parks back in those days and got in lots of pictures with Aladdin characters and The Beast, but I would also have to pry them from the photo album and then scan them, upload them to Photobucket and then attach them here. I can try to do one or two of them for you in a few days, but I can't do that today.
