Post art of animation pictures here

So, does one need to be in building 7 facing the lake to see fireworks from Epcot? I tried comparing the different maps, but I just became more confused.

Instead of a pool in the Lion King section, there is a "blob" about the size of a pool, but it's not blue on the map and it's called Elephant Graveyard

I believe the Elephant Graveyard should be a walk through/playground area. (???)

It is definitely a playground. I remember seeing pictures of it under construction but google is not my friend right now. Still looking... all I saw at that point was an elephant on its side, with the ribcage bones exposed. There was scaffolding along the outside and my little guy got excited about the idea of climbing the scaffolding.

If in LM section, you would want to be in building 9 facing away from the lake. We were in POP last year facing the lake to view Epcot fireworks.

Thought this was supposed to be a photo thread, not an information thread.......just sayin'

I actually asked a similar question in another thread and did not get an answer, so when someone posted here about it, I figured I would get my question answered. I'll limit my questions to the other thread again. ;)

We have been trying to add one day to our stay in Sept. at AofA with free dining they won't let us.:sad2:

If you're trying to just add one night at the end with Free Dining you can't do that because you would need to purchase a separate set of tickets for the free dining portion. Also, there is a minimum number of nights needed for Free Dining.

Free dining isnt available for AoA. Only for the other resorts.

It was available. I booked FD for AOA for our Sept trip this year. That was what actually sold me on taking the trip as DW and I wanted to stay at the new resort. As a previous post said, it was more likely due to # of days that were trying to be booked.

Thanks for the great photos and thanks to the OP for starting this thread. :thumbsup2

Pictures look great! Can't wait to see this resort.

Just wondering....and don't hate me for asking this.... but does anyone else get annoyed when people let their kids (or themselves) walk into the bushes/flowers to take pictures? It makes me sad to see the beautiful gardens throughout WDW damaged by careless guests.

I'd be more concerned about a snake bite. There was a post a while back about someone's child getting bit just by sticking their hand in the brush to get a dropped toy. After reading that I'm extra careful about staying only on paved walkways.

Just rejoined the DIS after a few years away.

First post:

Keep the photos coming.

We have booked AoA for October 2013 which seems like an eternity.

Stayed at POP a few years back and loved it.
