Post a favorite picture from your latest trip to WDW

Thank you so much. I love sewing. And I love photography. But scrapbooking really is my happy place. It has saved me buckets on therapy through the years! ;)

Lol, I know what you mean. I was a scrapaholic for about 10 years and then took the last few years off for a multitude of reasons. I recently re-discovered how much I loved it and how therapeutic it is, except for making me feel anxiety over how I will never catch up!

From late January this year - came out of the restrooms and saw this sky over Journey, and had to snap it:

Next trip is about a month away - this has been one of the longest gaps without Disney in years - a full 6 months! Usually I'm up there every 3 months or so. Schedule was crazy this year and couldn't carve out the time in March/April.

My last trip was in February of this year...

This is me during the last mile of the Royal Family 5K...I think it was about 7:30AM.

I'm going to cheat and post a second picture...this was taken at about 5:30AM, arriving at the Magic Kingdom to spectate the Princess Half Marathon. Such a fun morning!

Both of these are phone pictures. I had my "good" camera with me but I was traveling with my friends, and I found myself leaving the camera in the room more than I have on any other trip. It was sort of freeing, but I'm ready to go back and get some higher-quality shots next time! :)

WOW! How did you manage that? Great photo! :)

We booked a BBB at 8am (one hour before the park opened). So once the BBB appointements were done we got a 35 min window to walk around the castle for some great photo opp. It was pretty awesome.

It's gonna seem weird, but this ended up being my absolute favorite photo of my last trip:

There was this really cool purple lighting on a tree that is back behind Casey's on the way to Adventureland and there was a light out on the bridged path (rare for Disney standards), so it was extra dark, but I wanted to capture the tree against Crystal Palace. What I didn't know, until I was processing the photo at home many months later, was that Tigger could be seen inside! I'm not a Pooh fan, but I got all giddy when I saw it and I can't believe I didn't notice it at the time (although I was pretty obsessed with that darn purple tree).

It was also taken on auto mode and hand-held (not propped up against anything). I am SOOOO in love with my Sony RX100m2! I'm not a photographer (I prefer auto modes, don't use a tripod, and rarely even stop for the picture...I take them while moving, don't want to congest traffic), but it continuously hasn't failed to give me some really great pictures, especially dark ones (and why I ended up with over 5600 pictures last trip instead of my typical 1500-2000...I literally could not stop using it). One day I might learn how to properly take "real" pictures with a "real" camera, but I'm pretty happy with what I've gotten on the last two trips since getting this little beauty! It was really hard to pick just one favorite shot!

My last trip was in February, and while I took a bunch of pictures I really like, this one is my favorite.

Next trip is the 25th of this month!!! Super excited! Can't wait to get more pictures, too!

Leaving a very late ADR at Chefs de France I was able to steady the camera enough without the big crowds around to get off some good shots of the pavilions at night. This was just one of my favourites of Morocco.
