Possible workaround for no Global Entry

I know nothing about this app, but I found this article on The Points Guy. The app might be helpful for New York residents who can't get Global Entry or other TTP privileges.

One comment about the New York Global Entry situation.

I've seen a lot of misleading headlines like "NY Global Entry suspension..."

If you don't take the time to read the story, it sounds like all Global Entry and other Trusted Traveler Program privileges have been suspended for New York state residents. That is NOT what has happened.

Customs & Border Patrol has suspended new enrollments and renewals ONLY. New York residents with currently existing Global Entry, NEXUS, etc are NOT affected at this time.

However, if you are due for renewal, that could be a problem.
