Possible to ride Screamin' after dark in late September? (WoC)

Hi everyone, first post! I was wondering if it's possible to get in at least one ride on Screamin' after dark before it's closed for World of Color. I've checked sunset times for the days of our visit and basically it will be dark by 7:00 and the show is scheduled for 8:00 or 8:15 (different days). I just don't know how far ahead of the show they usually shut it down. I tried searching for info on this before posting but couldn't find anything. Thanks

It is possible to ride it in the dark and I HIGHLY recommend it. Although, I can't remember off-hand how far in advance they close the ride for WoC. The people at the wait-time board would likely know.

We were there in August and with only 1 showing of WOC it made it very doable to ride after dark. We had tried for the past 2 years but it never got dark enough before they closed the rides or we would get there after the line had been cut off for the night.

I am so glad we were able to ride it this year, it was well worth it!!! I highly recommend giving it a try.

We managed to do it once in July and it was a completely different experience. What an amazing and gorgeous view of DCA. The lights and wind in your face..oh my, can't wait Looks like it is open late one of the nights we are there (due to the Halloween party on DL maybe?) so we are hoping to get a few trips in
