Possible to do a crazy one day Sea World/Busch Gardens Trip?

Due to our limited schedule and the fact that the main thing we want to do at these parks is the roller coasters and rides, I am wondering whether it is possible to just do the rides at each park.

I know that we'll end up missing many important things but the biggest thing is to experience these coasters.

I'm thinking that if we hit up Sea World first thing in the morning and get on Journey to Atlantis, Kraken, and Manta, then spend the rest of the time at Busch Gardens we will be able to fit in all the major roller coasters.

Anyone have any thoughts on whether this is possible?

they are a fare distance apart 1-1.5hrs drive. If you get the expess passes I surpose that it would be doable. But it may be better to do them the other way round as SW usually is open later, also the express pass there allows you to ride one than once and busch one doesn't. So you could go to busch for opening do the rides (fast pass may be needed in high season) in about 2hrs then head back to sw for 2pm and get the fast pass and then use it until clossing. But it would be a hell of a busy day- not sure I would want to do this, think I would just choose one and stay there for the day.

Seems like trying to do both would be a waste of time. It will take about 2 hours to get from one parking lot to the other with traffic. If all you want to do is ride the coasters it could probably be done in the summer when BG has summer nights and stays open late; but you still would miss so much of each park that I suggest you choose one and do the other some other time. Both parks are so much more than just the rides.

I agree with the other posters. You could do it, but you'd have a much better time (even if you are just doing highlights) to just do one of the parks.

Just do Busch Gardens if you want the thrills. You'll have more fun re-riding the coasters than sitting in the car for 2hrs in between.

Manta is amazing and all, but if you really want to do it, then go on a morning you plan to spend at Disney or something.

It is easily possible, and I've done it myself. If you get to SeaWorld at opening, you can be done the rides there in one hour and be to Busch Gardens by noon. If Busch Gardens is busy when you arrive, pick up a quick queue and you'll be good to go!

Possible yes, but not sure how enjoyable...we did SW and BG this past trip and it is definitely a drive between them...we drove ourselves and it was still a good 1 hr 15 min or so.

Our older kids definitely enjoyed the coasters but I too would pick one park to focus on.
