Possible start date for Epcot International Food & Arts 2022?

I enjoyed the festival so much that I'm trying to plan for next year already... This year Disney moved it up one week early. Do you think that will be a current trend or go back to the original (Friday before MLK holiday). Thanks in advance!

No way to know. We’ll probably know more once we see how F&W and the Holiday festivals run this year.

Just back and we enjoyed it as well! They moved it up a week this year when marathon weekend was cancelled. I’ve run MW for 15 years and when the arts festival started 5 years ago we always missed it because we were leaving. In my opinion if MW comes back they will go back to the normal schedule where the festival starts the Friday after the marathon. I would love to see them keep the earlier start but think that might have been an exception this year. TBD is to see if RunDisney events restart later this year or with MW in 2022.

The Festival of Holidays should last until the Epiphany on January 6. Then they should wait about a week to start the Festival of the Arts. Maybe start it the Friday before MLK weekend and run to early March. Then have Flower and Garden run from mid March to Memorial Day.

Yeah but that’s not how they do the festivals. The OP was asking for what to expect, not what you would like to see. Unfortunately with COVID, we don’t know what will happen next year.
