Possible ear infection...here now SSR advice please

Hi, we are currently staying at SSR and my husband has a bad ear, possibly infected :-( we don't drive but will get a taxi if we need to - any advice in best place to go to get drops?

Why not ask at Reception where the nearest CVS ( Pharmacy ) or Walgreen's is ?

They should know .

My wife (who pretty much lives in Walgreen's when we're out there) says nearest is 12100 S Apopka Vineland Rd - a few doors down from Chilis, half a mile from the Crossroads (Hotel Plaza Blvd jct.)

Ask at your front desk. They may be able to provide a shuttle to an urgent care just off property and get him all fixed up. You don't want to let it go if it could indeed be an infection. Cheers, hoping he feels better soon and you have a great holiday!

some CVS have Minute clinics which charge about $100 to see a nurse practiioner who can prescibe antibiotics, if needed. You cannot get antibiotic ear drops without a prescription.

go to the front desk, ask them to call longs drug store?they
will deliver directly to the resort for a small fee, i'm sure cheaper than a taxi

About five years ago my son got a bad ear infection whilst staying at SSR. they called a doctor who came to the hotel and checked my son for over 30 minutes. He then prescribed antibiotics and drops and they were delivered to hotel. Our insurance sorted out cost if doctor directly and we paid for medicine and claimed it back. The only thing we did wrong was not calling doctor sooner. We tried drops from chemist first and it just got worse to the point our son was crying with pain. Hope he feels better soon.
Enjoy rest of holiday. We are currently at Portifino bay just for one night, then back to Bonnet Creek.

Thanks everyone - went to front desk and off to Walgreens! Feels slightly better today but probably best not to risk it

I suffer from severe mastoid infections and mine played up while there in may.
I went to the walgreens by cross rds they have a service where for $88 you see a doctor and they can prescribe.
I got the antibiotics and the consultation for that price. Just be aware that alot of them like to say they would rather do blood work etc etc to bump up
price.
