This could have a lot of potential. I hope they take the story further and not just do a total remake of it.
I really enjoyed the first one.

I loved the score as well. I saw the movie and enjoyed and then was pretty thrilled to get to play some of the score in college marching band.

I'm not sure why the film only did moderately well - it was an enjoyable film. And the score tends to pop up in background music in the parks and ships often...

I also hear the "Flying Circus" in lots of movie trailers. It is one of my favorite James Horner Scores and one of his most original. We played part of the score for Half-time in College as well.

I've never seen the original. This shames my boyfriend, who adores the movie.

A reboot would give me a reason to check out the original version.
