We had read that the state of Hawaii may start requiring all arriving cruise ships to dock first in Honolulu before visiting any of the other islands. Today we see the following tentative schedule for the Wonder, arriving in Honolulu at 8:30 am, departing at 10:00 pm on 2 May. This is the day when the Wonder is scheduled to arrive in Nawiliwili for a 2-day visit, so this portends a change in the order in which the Wonder will visit, stopping first for a day in Honolulu, then visiting the other islands on the itinerary, and finally ending back in Honolulu on 6 May. We await further information from DCL.

Thanks for posting this! Feels like that’s half of the uncertainty sorted, just waiting on Canada’s procedures now.
I wouldn’t say half sorted yet. At least we see that the Wonder is tentatively scheduled to arrive in Hawaii so that’s a good sign. Still some question in my mind regarding the island hopping portion after a day in Honolulu. The port sequence and dates may be different since the original itinerary has two consecutive days in Nawiliwili followed by a day in Kahului prior to the full day in Honolulu at the end of the cruise. If the two consecutive days in Nawiliwili remain, the stop in Kahului has to move one day later as well.

And I agree that the Canada procedures are still unknown. For those of us booked on the two Hawaii cruises b2b, there‘s the added question of testing requirements to reenter Canada at the end of the Honolulu to Vancouver cruise and testing requirements for flying back to the US from Vancouver. We’ve booked fully refundable airfares for this trip, since there are too many unknowns to risk having to settle for airline credits if the cruises don’t happen due to complications at one end or the other.

Interesting. I'm "wondering" if someone on the Hawaii B2B might want to get off on May 2nd and stay three days in Honolulu and rejoin on the ship on May 6th, instead of visiting the other islands twice? It is sometimes possible to get advance permission to depart the ship early on a cruise. Maybe stay 4 nights at Aulani.

That might not be possible these days. At the very least, you'd probably have to go through another round of testing to rejoin the ship.

I guess if one simply had money to burn. Though if one was scared of flying this might be a way of doing it.
somebody had posted somwhere another port screen shot and it listed number of pax at 1200.. We found that interesting.

I hope we get confirmatino soon on this and also if the other dates change too. but this for me is a good sign that some things are moving along.. if only we know more on what Canada requires foreign entry requirements and testing.. Then I'd be in a very calm happy place right now.. now I'm freaking out I need to lose about 30 pounds for this trip that actually might happen.

The change in itinerary has now been confirmed by DCL, arriving in Honolulu on May 2nd, then visiting the islands, and returning to Honolulu on May 6th. Emails should have been received by those booked on the Vancouver to Honolulu cruise.
