Possible Accident of the Monorail near the Contemporary

I hate to sound stupid but what are Delta stripes?

Accidental. Reports confirm monorail had trouble during testing requiring a tow back to shop. Something happened with the tow bar and the train and tractor collided. No injuries to any cast and no guests on board. Monorails should be back online once everything has been checked out. Coral will just be offline for a while...

I think @metzgardesign was being tounge in cheek. Disney's press release, as reported by the news, stated "this was not an accident"... that would make one assume that the converse is true: that it was intentional.

I'm glad no one was hurt, but I guess Coral will be out of commission for quite a while.

Just watched the damaged Coral get towed out of the station at the Magic Kingdom. Looked like they were taking it back to the garage/storage area. Hoping that means the monorails will be up and running again soon now that it's getting off the track.

Some of the colored stripes are hard to tell apart from far away so there is a big white gap in the middle of the car to help clarify.

Here is a better picture of Monorail Coral after the accident, and the damaged nose covered with a tarp .
Note the white breaks in the stripes under the center windows in every monorail car . Those are the Delta stripes . It helps distinguish Monorail Coral from Monorail Peach which would be close in color, but Peach is without the white Delta Stripes .
