Possibility of FD in October?

I just want to clarify something....

With the rumored FD offers coming soon for August & September, that does NOT mean there's no hope for October FD, right?

Am I understanding correctly that if FD is offered for October, it will likely be announced down the road in a few months? Is October FD normally announced at a later time than August/September?

Sorry for my ignorance, I've never gone to Disney in October so I've never paid attention to those FD dates/details before...

If it is announced for fall (October, November, December excluding holidays), it would most likely be in July or August. That's what they've been doing for a few years now. It's definitely announced later than the "late summer" discounts.
