Thank you everyone for the continued thoughts and prayers. I talked to my dr and he thinks it’s ok for me to go see him since I’ll have to be in a gown, and gloves, and a mask so, I’m going up later with my dad. They STILL don’t know what’s wrong. I’m trying hard not to panic but it slips in once in a while. I’ll update again when I get home.

I just got home from seeing Richard and there’s good news. They have ruled out meningitis! They’ve also put some other scary things way down the list. They still don’t have an answer but they are doing everything they can. I’m meeting with the whole team of doctors and specialists tomorrow morning to see if I can provide any more insight. Another improvement is that he can now hold a cup and get it to his mouth. Every small improvement is a victory right now.

Just a thought, but did they rule out Lyme disease? It can have some scary symptoms including paralysis and many many more. Many times people can test negative but really have it.

We don’t really have ticks here. They’re more in the woods and grassy areas. Plus, our bugs have been dead for a good month (it’s freezing here and snowing). Thanks for the thought though.
