Portofino Inn shuttle

How is the shuttle service at Portofino Inn? We've stayed at Candy Cane the last several trips to DL, and their shuttle service is great. I was just wondering how they compare.

We had good luck with the shuttle on our last trip. One tip, walk out to the Chevron station and go left to the Jolly Roger Hotel. That is the last pick up before the park. If you pick up the shuttle at the regular location (on the corner next to the Chevron Station) then you have to sit on the shuttle while it makes all its stops before going to the park. We found that it was usually at the Jolly Roger about 5-10 minutes after the scheduled pick up time for Portofino, so you can get to the park quicker. One caveat: if it is a busy time, you may just want to pick it up at the 1st location so you are sure to get a seat.
