Portofino bay room safe ?

I will be staying at the PB in August and was wondering if the room safe is big enoungh to store a lap top.

No definetly not fit a laptop, its only about 10to12 inches across, and about 3or 4 inches deep, maybe an IPad.
very few hotels if any would have a safe large enough for a laptop to fit.
What we do at both PBH and RPR is just left it on the desk, or you can lock it in a suitcase, and we have stayed up to 4 weeks with it sitting out without any problems.

I travel with my laptop everywhere I go and have never, EVER, had a problem. My parents even travel with their whole work stations... (Double monitors (laptop + extra monitor), mouses printers.. It's crazy and what I have to look forward to when I take over the business.. YAY...

And I ramble.

Onsite hotels I usually leave it out on the deck with no second thought. Off-site hotels depending on "shady scale" I put it in my case hidden in or under something, in the nightstand drawer, or in my suitcase.

But like I said, Universal rooms are very secure and very safe.

If the safes are the same size as RPR, then they will EASILY fit a 14" laptop (with about 1 3/4" to spare). I posted a pic in another thread a couple days ago.

I haven't stayed at PBH though so don't know if their safes are smaller.

Just got back two weeks ago and my wife's Mac Book fit in without a problem.

sounds like it might fit in the safe.

if it doesn't, put it in your suitcase and lock the suitcase.

that is what i do with items that don't fit into the safe.
