Portofino Bay $149 rate....

Portofino Bay has apparantly released more inventory for ALL summer through Hotwire. I checked several dates between May and August, and all the Universal Hotels are coming up. The best addition seems to be PBH back again for $149!!

The Universal hotels are VERY easy to identify and receive through Hotwire.

Just wanted to add.... PBH and HRH are coming up right now at $149 and $137 for weekends in October!! If you're planning on attending Halloween Horror Nights, this may be of great use as the hotels often fill up and get expensive rather quickly due to the event......

I am staying at the Portofino April 25,26 for $149/nt and received this rate direct from hotel. In fact, that had been my rate at Hard Rock, but when I called back to check on rates (as I usually do), I was told the Portofino rate and jumped on it.

Some dates for December are coming up too. Dec 10-17 for example, is available at PBH($149), HRH($137) & RPR($114). Dec 20-24 is also coming up on Hotwire for the same rates.

The Portofino should be the only 5* in the Uni/WetN'Wild zone. To confirm however, make sure that the ammenities match those on my list.

I was just there on 4-8-03 and got the ap rate of 129 thur lowes.

Portofino is back up for $149 almost all summer, as is RPR for $114.

No sure what a deluxe room is at the Portofino Resort, but I got a garden view for $146, yesterday through Hotwire.

Still riding high due to the 5 nights we got at WDW Dolphin @ 81.00/night thanks to you!! Now I want to try for a USF hotel for the first 3 nights of our stay. I figure the list of amenities to be matched is on your website-when I click on the button I'm getting freeservers.com. Is there another link to the list? I wouldn't dare try it without being sure they match exactly.(dates we're looking for are June 7-10). Thanks!

I have a deluxe room booked for 1 night at PBR with an Entertainment rate of $180.00. Should I keep this room or should I try hotwire? I see my 1 night is available for $149 on Hotwire. Is a deluxe room worth the extra $27.00? (Which it works out after taxes, etc.)

Thanks for any help ... especially those who may know about the deluxe rooms!

I personally would just keep the deluxe, the savings isn't enough to make it worth the switch. On the other hand, some people would look at it as the savings is enough for a meal, souviners etc...
