Portofino, AP rate and Loews benefits

Booked an AP rate for three nights in August. Wanted to add a 4th but it kept telling me the AP rate wasn't available. When I plugged in that one night it was available for the AP rate of $199. So now I am holding 2 reservations, one for 1 night and the second for 3 nights. Will I be able to stay in the same room when I explain at check in? Should I call and ask if they can link the reservation?
Also, we stayed at Portofino a few years ago and they did have a designated pet building. I am allergic to dogs so should I call and ask not to be placed in this bldg? Does anyone know what bldg. it is?
Last question, I am a Loews First member, will I still get the benefits such as free internet, free gym, upgrades, where I booked with an APH rate? Thank you so much for any and all replies.

I would call and tell them your problem with the 2 ressies. Yes, AP rate is a qualifying rate. Depending on your level status you will receive those benefits.

I could only assume it's somewhere overlooking the water way area. I have never stayed at Portofino, we always stay at RPR.

you need two qualifying stays to reach blue.
i know gold and platinum receive many of the free perks.

the free upgrades are automatic when you book as a platinum member if you request it.
for blue, no (unless the check in TM gives it to you) and gold yes if available at check in time.

that one, free upgrade, i remember as i'm at platinum level

check out the stay more play more promo on the website since you are staying 4 nights.

it might be cheaper than the ap rate you booked at.


i switched my rate to the smsm as it was cheaper for the room rate.
