It is sandwiched between Raglan Road/Cookes of Dublin complex and Fultons.
If you are heading torwards the remnants of what was Pleasure Island from DTD Marketplace it is past the Lego store.
Its right on the water and offers some lovely view of SSR.
Has anyone dined here recently? I'm hearing so-so reviews. Been wanting to try Portabello's for a long time, but it was always 2 TS. Now that it's down to 1 TS it sounds more tempting but the reviews are lower as well!!

I don't believe that Portobello was on the DDP at all, not that it was 2 TS, am I wrong?
We haven't eaten there in many years, but I enjoyed it when we did.
It is a lovely setting and the service was excellent.

I think it was on the DP several years ago, but not for quite some time. The plan we were on then doesn't even exist now but we opted for Fulton's which is back on the DP but is 2 TS. We were going to try Yachtman's Steakhouse for our 2TS dinner. We will probably do Via Napoli which we love but we usually just do pizza there - FINALLY good pizza at WDW Thinking to maybe give Tony's another try but we are looking for a good restaurant out of the park and thought we would try Portabello unless anyone has any better suggestions???
This was VERY helpful, thank you soooo much. DH is full-blooded Italian as well and although I'm not, after 30 years of marriage, I think I know at least a little about good Italian food. I see you are from NY and we are from Philly - so GOOD ethnic food is plentiful.
We like the pizza at Via Napoli - not blown away by the food, although only DH ordered a meal, the rest of us opted for the pizza on both trips.
Tony's was menza-menza but there are not great options at MK unless you like buffets (which I am not a big fan of).
Glad to see someone who appreciates food porn - always helpful. That shrimp sambucca looks amazing - hope they have it on their dinner menu - yum!!
I'm so glad I came across this thread. We made a ressie for our upcoming trip in August...have always wanted to try this place but was on the fence with some of the reviews I had read. So glad we didn't change it and I completely agree with a pp...coming from New England, we know good Italian food! Can't wait to try Portobello.
We just ate here 3 weeks ago. We always put it off cause, we are from chicago and its owners / company are from here and run many resturants, so we thought it would be to much like home. Wrong.
It was the worse. Sorry, We had a terrible experience. They had only a few tables going when we went in. The room and bar area are really nice. Great views. We thought "this is great".
The 3 people who where working the area > seemed off. Our waitress seemed hurried and the other waiter who was working near us had a 20 minute loud conversation with his table about how great Universal and Harry Potter is compared to how terrible wdw is.
We got an appy, and it wasn't bad things seemed promising. Sis got pizza and said "it ain't from home" but better than typical florida pizza. I got the meatsauce, pasta. OMG, I think the meat was spoiled it smelled bad and tasted worse. Unedible. They did offer to change it to something else, but I declined. Could not image they served it to start with.
We left and went to planet hollywood.
