DH and I were there the first week in September, just about three weeks ago or less. We thought it was ordinary at best. If you want Italian for that birthday, we had a wonderful meal at Il Mulino New York Trattoria in the Swan last spring. I would consider switching. If Italian cuisine is not your priority, Artist's Point at Wilderness Lodge was one of the best meals we had on our recent September trip. Could recommend some others as well if you like. Hope this helps and Happy Birthday:cake:

Il Mulino is a much better restaurant than Portabello, but it is also much more expensive. Portabello has improved since the last time you have gone. If that is the price point you want to hit, give it a shot. Try the mix and match antipasti choices. You can seriously make a meal out of those alone.
