I made a PS for lunch at Liberty Tree Tavern for our family of 5. I'm thinking of getting the VKL vouchers as well. My youngest child who is 9 doesn't usually like what's offered on kid's menus like chicken fingers, hot dogs, etc. Not that he won't eat them at all, but we've raised our boys to eat a wide variety of food, so most of the time they would rather choose off of the adult's menu. Anyway, my question is, how large are the adult portions? I could get one adult VKL for my 11 and 9 year old to split and maybe just order an extra appetizer.

Every time I've eaten at the Liberty Tree it's been 'family' style. They bring the plates and bowls of food and you take what you want. Don't have children but I don't think they serve different items to kids...just let them choose between the ham, turkey, etc. Anyone else know?

The family style part is only for dinner. The lunch actually has a regular meal, but I've never been for lunch either.

We eat at LTT for lunch often. The meals are quite generous. We have had a yummy large burger. DH enjoys the turkey and dressing. I think it would work to have them split a meal.

We have eaten at LTT for lunch and dinner. We had lunch there in October and I got the burger ~ It was massive, you could certainly split it.

We've always had more than enough food at LTT lunch. If they are willing to eat the same thing, than I would say that one adult meal with appetizer would be plenty!

We always eat at LTT for lunch - we'll eat there twice on our upcoming trip. I'm pretty sure the portions are large, as they are at most WDW restaurants. I don't think the kids would have trouble sharing an entree, especially if you got an extra appetizer. Have fun planning all your PSs.

My son usually gets the "Fryed Cheese" for his lunch. I get the pot roast and husband gets the turkey dinner. Both of these two plates are very filling. Once we just did salads and soup. It's an excellent place to eat lunch. One of our favorites.

Portions are enormous - definitely big enough to share. :)

Enormous +. I think they gave me the whole turkey!:D Oops, no as it was all white meat they just gave me half a turkey which could have feed half an army.

We went for lunch at the LTT and loved it. I had the Tri-Corner (basically the best roast beef sandwich ever!). Everyone loved their meals - and we were a party of 8. We did not have any problems with portion sizes. We were all definitely satisfied. We will go back there again.
