Today is my little sister's birthday (Oh my gosh, she is 22....I am getting older by the second). We are going to Kobe (Japanese Steak House) for dinner. I have put my food in my WW Journal as....

6 oz of Chicken
1 1/2 cups of noodles
1 cup of rice
1/2 cup of "white sauce" (I counted it as mayo, I can not imagine it can be worse than that).

My problem is, short of bringing a measuring cup and scale how can I estimate my portions? I will be sharing with DS so I will be able to quickly remove the extra food from my plate. I know my portion size is a little large on all of there (does anyone need 2 1/2 cups of starches for dinner--NO!!), but I would rather guess high and then if I eat less, I will adjust my journal when I get home.

Thank you!!
Christy

Thank you!!

Well, 6 oz of chicken would be just over half of a chicken breast. The rest I had to learn to "eyeball" from measuring pasta and rice out a home. The good news is 1 1/2 cup of noodles is a LOT! :D I am usually VERY full after 1 cup of pasta. Same thing with 1 cup of rice - if you eat those you will feel VERY full anyway. Good luck!
