Any reviews of this restaurant in DTD? Is it on the Dining Plan?

It is not on the dining plan. I don't believe you can make reservations there through Disney - you have to call them directly.

I dont know how disney dining can take reservations since it only take ressies 30 days ahead of time-- the number above is the number to call for reservations.

I love this place. I did use my DDP there before, don't kno wif they still do.

They do offer I think 10% off with DVC membership

The food is excellent, the ambiance is fabulous, the waiters/waitresses are great, etc. Do you get where I am going with this? We loved it!!!! If you get a chance to go, do it; you won't regret it.

1) Portobello does not take DDP, although they did the first year of DDP. *
2) You can make an ADR through Disney Dining.

* Most Downtown Disney eateries were on DDP the first year it was introduced. Then many found out they lost money, so now many non-Disney eateries outside of the parks do not take normal DDP. However, most do take Premium and Platinum DDP as the reimbursement allowances are so much higher.

It is my favorite place to eat when we go to WDW!

The food is wonderful, and the service is great too

They do not accept the Dining Plan, but I have found that they have a wonderful lunch menu that has very reasonable prices (compared to the dinner menu prices), and the view overlooking the water is beautiful!

We ate there a few years ago and my wifes meal ended up being comped because they messed up her entre twice. That was dissapointing but the atmosphere was nice and my meal was good. I know any restaurant you go to can have an off night so I think we'd try it again at some point.
