Hi

Watch out for a Port Security stalker/harasser - A weird incident occurred while in process of checking into the dock at Cape Carnaval, Florida. We checked in through the outside dock gate - we had not entered the building yet - and I took my child to the outside Men's restroom on ground floor. A uniformed port security African American male - early 50s to possibly late 60s - may have stalk but definitely harassed me. I came out of the stall and he was waiting. There was no one else but us in the restroom. He quickly went to inspect the stall as I was leaving and told me to come back. I thought I might have left or drop something. Instead he wanted me to pick up residual toilet seat cover that was still sticking out on an automatic flush toilet. He then went on the say that "in America, we don't..."

As an American, I then argued with him as I was insulted by his behavior. I was with my child so immediately left - as I did not want to continue to argue while my child was present. Unfortunately, I didn't get his name or badge number.

I suspect that he intentionally followed me in as I am Asian American and this is a pattern for him to insult and humiliate people he may stereotype as vulnerable.

I tried to alert the Security Guard supervisor but did not have enough information to identify this individual. At the same time, my family was rushing to get through the Disney Cruise boarding process that I couldn't focus on this incident.

My warning to others, especially non-Americans or those of Asian ethnicity, do not let this individual stalk and harass you. I suspect he has been doing this for some time since it was such an unusual situation - but he appeared adept at it.
