Port Orleans

What is going on with Port Orleans. I am trying to plan a trip in November and hear that this resort is closing down for refurbishing. Does anyone know if that is true for November? The problem is we need a room to hold five and I don't think we can afford the Deluxe level right now. Any suggestions?
