Would you recommend the mansions or the AB section of the Port Orleans Riverside? Are they equally close to the food court?

:D DW and I have stayed in both. Sept. 2002 we stayed in AG 14 and Dec. 2003 we stayed in Parterre Place. We both agreed that AG14 was much much better. We both felt as though the Mansion section felt to removed from the resort. AG 14 was a 2-5 miniute walk to main building/food court and 5-6 minute wal to pool.

If you stay at POR make it a must to see Bob Jackson in the lounge at night. He is UNBELIEVABLY talented and funny. He's great with kids also.:D

We stayed in AB 2723, and really enjoyed it. I felt Bldg 27 was in the middle of everything, the food court, the pool, and the bus stop.

Just an FYI, when we left on 3/6 Oak Manor was closed for renovations.

We have always stayed in the Arcadian House. It's removed enough that you won't hear noise from the main pool, but only a three minute walk to get coffe in the morning.

I'd recommend Oak Manor. The sounds and sights were beautiful, and you're pretty close to everything. I think they are renovating it right now, so I'm not sure how long it'll be unavailable for.
