Port Orleans Riverside Question?

Looking to stay at Port Orleans Riverside......I've seen pictures that look like it has a "Rustic" feel.....that's not the "Mansions" right?

Not looking for the rustic feel, more the country, "Gone with the Wind" feel and that would be the "Mansions" I think?

You're right...the Mansions have the Gone With The Wind look. The rustic section is Alligator Bayou. We really loved staying there...I hope you do too!

If you go to http://www.allearsnet.com/acc/faq_hot.htm you'll see pictures of the rooms. They show the Alligator Bayou and the Magnolia Bend (mansion) rooms.

POR reminded me of GWTW also. We loved staying there. Can't wait to return.

Yep, the Mansions are romantic and remind of the GWTW.

The AB is rustic but beautiful in its own way.

Great resort, can't wait to go back.

Just got back from POR - you will enjoy it - very nice. From your description, you will definitely want the mansions - we stayed in Magnolia Terrace - it is beautiful - lots of landscpaing.

Just know that you can request mansions but may not get it. That said, I was convinced I had to stay in the mansions but got Alligator Bayou and loved it! The whole resort is beautiful, you can't go wrong.

I think more people request the Bayou area. Lots of families with 5 in them do at least. I love the mansion area. Have a few photos from our last Christmas trip. Click the link to see them.

DH and I are staying at POR Mansions during our trip in May.....oh I just can't wait!
