5 days!! second stay at Port Orleans Resort but first stay at Riverside!

Our Nov. trip will be the same. We stayed at POFQ in 2006 and loved it. Really looking forward to checking out POR.

I love POFQ too. We are "testing" POR this trip for my niece. She has some concerns about getting lost at the "big side" on our next family trip. She will be 11 and is never allowed to go roaming around alone so I am really not sure what her issue is. LOL

I was visiting the Garden Grocer website and was trying to find out if the deliver to Riverside. Has anyone availed of the service?

Just got new Mickey Mail since I added a day to the start of our package last week. But no new magical express tags....the ones they sent already(before I added the day) have the wrong date. When I called they told me they just scan everything and I wouldn't be receiving anything more in the mail so I was a little surprised to get the vouchers etc with the updated dates.

Booked my trip last night for August 5-14. This is our 5th stay at POR. Can't wait!!!!

Just added another night to our trip in 2 weeks, and was able to add another park day. But had to give up my preferred room. Someone tell me I won't regret this. Got a garden room, and another park day and broke even on price. So someone make me feel better about not having a preferred room.

I think that's a no-brainer. The thing is, with all the room choices at POR, none of them really have the kind of rooms where you sit there staring out the window. The walks, unless you have a disability, really aren't that far, and they are lovely, and uncrowded and very scenic. Enjoy the extra night and day and don't look back!

Just got new Mickey Mail since I added a day to the start of our package last week. But no new magical express tags....the ones they sent already(before I added the day) have the wrong date. I change dates/resorts etc all the time after I get the DME stuff and I have never received new vouchers or tags. I never have an issue since it scans correctly. My luggage and I always make it to/from the resort without issue, so don't worry!

Yes, Garden Grocer delivers to POR. We used GG on both of our trips and they were wonderful. We are using them on our next trip as well.

We are thinkning of using them for the first time also. Do they deliver it to the check in building? Did you have to wait or was it there before you checked in?

For those of you who pack a hanging cloth closet organizer to hang on your bathroom doors for extra storage, where do you buy them? Could you direct me to a website so I could see what it looks like? I assume they're really compact so you can pack them in a suitcase?

My question of the day is Boatwrights! I still have 2 TS credits that aren't planned. Should i pencil in a meal at Boatwrights since we are at POR? I ate there once, years ago when my sister stayed at POR. her last name is the same as the restaurant, so they HAD to eat there!! I could have sworn it was for breakfast.
Anyway, is it good enough to use a TS credit? And about how far in advance do we need to make an ADR? We still have 98 days, but are a party of 8.

They're talking about something like this, but it would hang from the closet rod, not the bathroom door. I assume what they're hanging from a bathroom door is a shoe organizer like this, which is nice because you can see what's in each compartment.

We bought ours at the local Dollar Tree, as they are just for Disney so we went cheap, and they are cheap. We have both a sweater holder that velcros on the closet bar, and a shoe holder that has a hanger "head" on them - so not over the door, but they can be hung in the closet area. They fold up flat. It will work perfect for us since there are 4 slots on the sweater holder, so we can stuff one day's outfit for each person in each compartment. We are also using compression sacks for our clothes for extra luggage space - self-pressure "vacuuming" kind.

Target and Walmart also sell the closet storage, for about $15 (?). Target has shoe holder storage that can be hung over the bathroom door.
