When we booked there were no standard rooms available to we booked a pool view. I've just noticed there are some standards available now and they work out to $90 CDN cheaper. Is the poolview worth the extra money? My kiddos will be 9, 7 & 5 when we go. Thanks!

I’d forgo All that to get a preferred room, building 14, our fav. The resort is so large and being close to main pool, food court, south depot is worth more than Any View imho.
That being said..
Standard parking lot views are fine. I don’t think ur kids will care one way or the other and You May enjoy Not having the pool view ( somewhat noisier and possibly more asking about pool time by kiddos.. oh the temptation, lol)
Enjoy whichever you decide! Beautiful Resort.. don’t forget the boat ride to Disney springs and perhaps a visit to pofq for kiddos to swim there too!

Pool (any) view at a Moderate/Value resort only matters of you plan to spend time standing:
  • In your window with the curtain open;
  • In your open doorway; or
  • Leaning on the railing opposite your room, taking in the view.
