Port Orleans Riverside And ECV

We will be staying in a Royal Guest Room Garden View on our upcoming trip in the fall. My mother although not handicapped requires an ECV to get around at Disney (Heart issues) I’m getting my room requests ready to send in. Is it better to request a ground floor or will the second level walkway and elevator accommodate an ECV?

We have seen people with ECV on the upper floors at PO French Quarter. There is a POR thread here on the DIS that may have more experiences with upper floors & EVCs

The 2nd floor can accommodate an ECV, but I would request ground floor and then close to walking bridge.
