Hi,

I just got a rate of 146per nite at the POFQ and this was after my aaa discount and including tax, works out to be 20% off, I am staying there April 22nd-28th. Is this a good rate or do you think I could do better with a MYW package or an AP rate? First time staying at this resort and I have heard good things. Thanks in advance for your feed back.

We just stayed at POFQ during peak season, and with the AP rate paid 122.00 a night. I think the time frame you are talking about is also peak, so the rate would be the same. Is is worth it for you to purchase an AP is what you need to determine.

You'll love the resort...The themeing is great! :sunny: The pool is wonderful, and there is a boat to DD, which we rode on our first night there.

We did a split stay at POFQ and then the BW, which we paid an AP rate of 315.00 a night for, and I felt that the disparity in pricing was unreasonable. For 122.00, POFQ is not only an incredible property, but a great value.

Happy Planning :)

I'll have to look back at my breakdown, but we're going April 23-29, 6 nights at POFQ, and the cost of our standard room with 5 day park hopper tickets came out to $1,900.00 exactly. April 23 begins the regular season - not sure if booking for 1st night being in peak season would hurt your rate overall?

Actually if you book from the 23rd-29th with a MYW package it will run you a little cheaper so you may want to change that package if you can and that includes the upgrades with a meal voucher for planet hollywood and a photo thingy. I got a rate of $1296 for the 23rd thru the 28th. I am just bargain hunting to the max.

If the season changes during your stay you will be paying the higher rate for the duration of the trip....You can make two seperate ressies, and check out and back in to save $$$.

That sounds about right. Even with an AP I was unable to get a discount at POFQ. I will be there 5/3-5/10 and that is what I am paying. But it is worth it. Even though I could have gotten a discount at POR, I wouldn't transfer there as I like the size of FQ and the fact that the busses pick up and drop off there first before POR.

Have a wonderful time on your trip.

See you in the World-- :wave2:
