WOO HOO!!! Isn't it exciting?! We are leaving in 4 days (we are stopping overnight on the way), check in is in 5 days! I still haven't told the girls! I'm not sure how we are telling them yet. But, I am really getting excited now!

How in the world have you kept it a secret for so long? I would be so excited I would have to tell my kids. Hence, the reason I have never kept it a secret for our past 5 and current trip coming up. Where do they think you are going? I am very impressed, cause I would have spilled the beans a long time ago. You are amazing!

I just checked online to see if there was still more availabilities for our May 10-14th ressie for POFQ and it is SOLD OUT for those dates.

Does this resort tend to overbook? We are doing a split stay and this is our second part of our stay. We are having Disney transfer our luggage from POP to POFQ but we wont be going to the resort until after around lunch time to check in. Should we be worried?

I have been lurking on these boards for a couple of months now and changed my reservations due to everyones praise of thise hotel. We are going to be down from May 14 - 21 and I am so excited. I have 3 children under 3 and this will be their first time in Disney. I am so excited and I read this board everyday to see what everyone recommends.

I have been to Disney before but this is my first time staying on Disney property....

POFQ has the least amount of rooms of all the moderates.
So that is why it may sell out faster than other moderate resorts.

CBR = 2,112 guest rooms
CSR = 1,917 rooms and suites
POFQ = 1,000 guest rooms
POR = 2,048 guest rooms

On our first trip to disney (the girls were 6 and 7) we didn't tell them we were going until we woke them up to go to the airport! It was a moment that I will treasure forever. They were so excited!

We had shown them the Disney vacation video the week before just to give them an idea of what Disney World was about and when they asked if we could go there, we said "yes" and then said that it takes a lot of time to arrange so it wouldn't be for a while yet.

This gave them an opportunity to know what to look forward to but it still kept the element of surprise in place for the morning we left. If you haven't told them yet, you should try this. It was fantastic!

Too funny! I'm the same way. Last trip, I was booked 3 weeks prior to the trip, then would add or rearrange things, but once I locked the suitcase up 3 days prior to leaving, that was it.

Hmmm. Is it too early to start packing for a trip in early November???
