I'm so glad I checked back in with this thread because the movies in the court yard sounds awesome! My DD1 goes to be bed early so we've been looking for something to do with our DS at the hotel for a few of the nights.

Does anyone know what type/brand bathroom products are in the POFQ bathrooms ?

Are they H2O products ?

Is the shampoo and conditioner in the same bottle?

Does the soap have a fragrance ?

This may have been asked before - sorry for the repeat question.

From what I last heard, H2O products, but they're a combo Shampoo/Conditioner. I'm going this weekend, so I'll check it out and report back on fragrance as well :goodvibes

Thank you Onelilspark !

Please have a wonderful and magical vavcation !
Warm sunny weather will be in my prayers for you and everyone traveling to WDW.

I have fairly thin hair and was disappointed in the weak force of the hair dryers.

What I want to know is if the force of any hair dryer is stronger than the humidity - it is always a fight for me: how I want my hair vs. how the weather wants it. :rotfl: I'm going to guess that between the humidity, sweat, and probable rainstorms it is going to be a losing battle for me!

Pondering booking POFQ as my resort for my trip in June 2012. It will be my first visit to PO and POFQ. I like what I am seeing with the newly refurbished rooms and have heard such wonderful things about this resort, I just have to check it out myself. :)

Last year we were at WDW in Sept, it was extremely humid, I gave up and just let nature take its course. Even with tons of product on it my hair would just curl up so I gave up and put mousse on it and let it curl. Wasn't worth the fight to get it straight and then walk outside and it would start curling. This year my hair is much shorter so I don't think it is going to be that big of a problem.

I have to be sun avoidant now anyway so this is my first vacation under big sunhats...I think I'm going to have to be like you and let nature take its course!

Can anyone comment on the strength of the hair dryers? I have pretty thick, long hair, I'd like to not have to pack my dryer, but I usually have to.

I was at POFQ just last week, and I actually LOVED the hair dryer at POFQ. It was the small model, attached to the wall, and, yet, it dried my hair so quickly that I've been missing it every single morning since I've been back home. Ridiculous, maybe, but since you asked, I'm admittng it in type. Before I even read your post, I already put it on my to-do list to toss my own hair dryer and purchase a brand new because of that speedy little hair dryer at POFQ.

My hair is very thick, naturally wavy, long, and I've dried it straight most days (since the 80s ended anyway-LOL), including while I was at WDW from 5/11 to 5/18 with much more ease than usual.

Wait, I have them here from last week, H2O Shampoo & Conditioner Bottle (1.25 fl oz), no fragrance specified but smells like Easter flowers to me. Round bath soaps (1.7 oz) with Mickey's face imprinted into it, H20 also. I think they gave us 2 soaps and 2 little Shampoo & Conditioner per day for our family, but we didn't ask for more since we brought our own products. :)

Movies?? Wait? What? I missed something here I think.

Yea, they set up a big screen and show different Disney movies on the grass between building 5 and 6. I think its 3 nights a week. During our stay we saw them playing Monsters, INC, and Toy Story 2. Saw them setting up another night but never saw what they played.

I have a question!

So, if you're driving around property, you know how you see signs that state "Epcot Resort Area" and the like? What is POFQ considered?

My mother wants to know so they don't get lost on Friday...
